This bookcase with its Arts & Craft influence was built in 1998 as a gift. It is an original design built from solid mahogany and lacewood. The construction uses traditional joinery with no metal fasteners or screws. The finish is natural with a polyurethane topcoat. It took 6 months for the piece to darken to its current color.
